“To achieve what I have achieved, I must first thank my family and many basketball and sports friends.

Many successes do not come on their own, but are the result of hard work, sacrifice, and difficult challenges. In the end, however, what truly matters are friendships, beautiful memories, and many wonderful moments. One of those moments is certainly the opportunity I now have to influence children by example and give young people better opportunities to engage in sports. This is what I want to achieve through the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp, the renovation of basketball courts across Slovenia, and the humanitarian activities of the Goran Dragić Foundation.

All children deserve equal opportunities to pursue their dreams, regardless of the social environment they come from or any physical limitations they may have. I believe that together with our partners we will carry out many more charitable projects in the future and thus contribute to a better future for our community.”
