LAŠKO, JUNE 29 – JULY 5, 2025
From 2021 onward, Goran Dragić, together with a team of experienced and highly skilled coaches and mentors, has been spending seven unforgettable summer days in the beautiful surroundings of Laško. The camp takes place at the Thermana Laško hotel and spa complex (a four-star hotel) and the recently renovated Tri Lilije arena, which received a new parquet floor and air conditioning in 2024.
The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp, which will be held in Laško from Sunday, June 29, to Saturday, July 5, 2025, is about more than just basketball. It’s not merely about fun either. It’s a perfect blend of sports, basketball, mutual respect, new friendships, and countless moments of joy.
At the heart of it all is the incredible personality of Goran Dragić. Goran spends the entire week with the children, getting to know them and sharing every moment of the basketball camp with them. To make the experience even more special, he invites his sports friends as guests and organizes many surprises for the participants.
WHO IS THE CAMP FOR?
The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp is open to boys and girls aged 9 to 15 (born between 2010 and 2016). The camp can accommodate around 140 participants of both genders.
This isn’t just a basketball camp, nor is it an ordinary summer program. It’s basketball training enriched with a variety of other sports activities, creative experiences, fun, and new friendships. It’s a basketball adventure camp.
Our goal is to provide participants with an unforgettable week through the dedication, creativity, and expertise of a 35-member team of experienced organizers, coaches, and mentors. The camp offers a unique opportunity to spend time with an idol, a family man, and an exceptional person that Goran Dragić undoubtedly is.
We emphasize: Gogi spends all seven days with the children—every day, every hour.
We want every child to leave the camp smiling, enriched with new skills and friendships, and just a little bit tired.
And one more thing! The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp is a phone-free zone. At the start of the camp, participants hand their phones over to their parents or guardians for the week. This ensures that children can connect authentically—with Goran, the coaches, the mentors, and each other—without the distractions of modern technology.
WHAT DOES EACH PARTICIPANT'S PACKAGE INCLUDE?
6 full-board meals (including additional snacks) at the Thermana Park Laško Superior** hotel.
Accommodation in spacious double or triple rooms.
Adidas gear (basketball, bag, jersey, shorts, and T-shirt).
24/7 support and supervision from a 35-member professional team comprising:
- 17 coaches,
- 9 mentors,
- A physiotherapist,
- A 7-person team handling organization, video recording, photography, and social media,
- And the one and only: Goran Dragić.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WHAT IS AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPANTS?
- Basketball courts: The Tri Lilije hall will have three full-sized basketball courts (28×15 m).
- One court will feature a lowered hoop (260 cm) for younger participants.
- Supervision:
- 17 coaches
- 9 mentors
- Additional organizational team for camp management, logistics, photography, video, and social media.
- Group division: On the first day, participants are divided into 8 groups of 15-18 children, based on age and basketball skill level.
- Basketball activities:
- 12 basketball activities (8 training sessions, 2 afternoons of games, training and tournament in 3×3 basketball).
- At least 10 other guided activities.
- Visits: Regular visits from former and current basketball players, coaches, and representatives from other sports.
- Facilities:
- A large event hall for non-basketball activities.
- A dedicated wing and dining area at the Thermana Park Superior** hotel.
- Accommodation in rooms with a maximum of 3 children per room.
- Supervision details: Children are constantly monitored by coaches and/or mentors, with additional external, qualified supervisors for all activities.
- Surprises: Participants will enjoy various surprises during the camp.

COACHING TEAM
IN LOVE WITH BASKETBALL
In the camp, there will always be at least 17 coaches present with the children. The professional camp leader for the second consecutive year will be Aleš Živanović, a longtime coach at Gogi’s camps and an experienced basketball expert in working with young players. He is surrounded by a team of skilled coaches and trainers who are also used to working with youth, including current active players.
At the same time, the camp organizers, together with Goran Dragić, are working to bring the best Slovenian and international basketball experts and active or former players to Laško for a day or two. Everyone who visits the camp will be available to the participants, both on the basketball court and during free time.
For the third consecutive year, we will be collaborating with the 3×3 basketball department of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia, led by coach Matic Vidic. He will introduce the basics of the new Olympic discipline to the camp participants and, together with the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp team, will organize an internal tournament.
It’s also important to note that a physiotherapist will be present throughout the camp in Laško to attend to any potential injuries and ensure the health of the participants.
The camp includes children of various ages and basketball skills, and it has never been, nor will it ever be, solely focused on basketball. Basketball is the main connecting element of our time together, but we do not select participants based solely on their basketball knowledge.

RESPECT, FUN, AND DISCIPLINE
Although basketball is the top priority at the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp, ensuring a safe, high-quality, professional, and enjoyable stay for the children is just as important to us. This area will be managed by a team of ten mentors, led by Rado Trifković. He combines forces with his colleagues, all of whom are professionally trained and have extensive experience in camps, colonies, and events organized by the Anita Ogulin Association and ZPM, partners of the “Gogi” Basketball Camp.
The mentors will be with the children throughout their stay at the basketball camp, and together with the coaches, they will be housed in the shared part of the hotel.

A Beautiful Town by the Savinja River
A small town, a beautiful piece of nature with exceptional hotel and sports infrastructure, located just a dozen kilometers from Celje and 90 km from Ljubljana.
Laško has settled by the Savinja River, flowing through it at an altitude of 260 meters above sea level, while the town “flirts” with the rugged pre-Alpine Posavje hills and the Celje Basin. The Municipality of Laško is home to 14,000 exceptionally hospitable locals, who proudly boast about the famous brewery, excellent food, beautiful nature, basketball, and hotel offerings. The area developed its tourism primarily due to the thermal-mineral water springs.
Since 2013, Laško has proudly held the title of European Destination of Excellence, earned through the development of accessible tourism for everyone. It also bears the golden Slovenia Green Destination mark. Since 2021, it has proudly become the second home of Goran Dragić and his basketball camp.

WELCOME MEETING
On the first day of the camp, Sunday, June 29, we will prepare and clearly mark special parking spaces near the hotel, as well as a dedicated reception area for gathering the children before the camp.
At the welcome meeting, which will be held at 11:15 in the large hall of the Thermana Park Laško Superior**** hotel, the entire organizing team, led by the management, coaches, and caregivers, will introduce themselves to the eager participants and their parents or guardians.
Of course, all attendees will be available to answer any questions you may have.
ALL-STAR GAME AND DEPARTURE HOME
On the final day of the camp, Saturday, July 5, at 10:00 AM, we will host a closing day with the All-Star game in the Tri lilije hall for all participants and their parents or guardians.
The children will have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned during the week spent with Goran Dragić. They will show just how much they love basketball, while also taking part in basketball games, fun competitions, as well as special prize games and challenges. We will also prepare some of these for the bravest moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or other family members.

Participants of the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp will stay in the modern complex of the Thermana Park Laško**** Superior hotel.
The children will be accommodated in top-quality, spacious rooms and will be separated from the other hotel guests along with the camp leadership, coaches, and caregivers. They will have their own “wing” of the hotel, a dedicated dining area, a terrace, rooms for extracurricular activities, a large event hall, special elevators, and a separate staircase.
Thermana Laško, in partnership with the Municipality of Laško, has become a partner of the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp. Therefore, we have no doubt that the children will also enjoy their free time during the week spent in the charming town by the Savinja River with “Gogi” and his team.

TRI LILIJE HALL
The Basketball Sanctuary of Laško
The Tri Lilije Hall is one of the symbols of the town of Laško, particularly well-known among basketball enthusiasts. It is the first sports facility in Slovenia with a ceiling-mounted scoreboard and a sports surface built on an upper floor.
For the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp, the hall will be adapted to allow training for three groups of children simultaneously. With a total area of 4,500 square meters, it will provide ample space and freedom for all camp participants. They will have access to three regulation-sized basketball courts (28×15 m), each with all the necessary markings. The children will truly feel like real “big-time” basketball players.
One of the three courts will have its basketball hoops adjusted so that the rims are set 260 cm from the floor, instead of the usual 305 cm.
A MAJOR DEVELOPMENT AND ACHIEVEMENT IN 2024: The Municipality of Laško, in collaboration with the Goran Dragić Foundation, has installed air conditioning and new flooring in the hall.
The sports facility can accommodate up to 2,500 spectators. During the camp, it will be further equipped to ensure that everyone entering will feel like they are part of Gogi’s basketball fairytale. Over 80 meters of LED screens will be installed, and the venue will gain extra “sparkle” through branding featuring the Goran Dragić Foundation’s logo, along with those of our proud sponsors and partners.

The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp offers all participants, in addition to excellent accommodation, basketball training, and fun, a well-structured and thoroughly prepared program.
