It’s not just about basketball – it’s about a week of unforgettable experiences.
Every year, Goran Dragić together with a team of top coaches and counselors prepares a week full of sports challenges, basketball training sessions, fun, and meeting new friends.
The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp is not just basketball training. It is a basketball experience camp where Goran Dragić spends seven days with the children/participants, sharing his experience and passion for sports through games, training sessions, and social activities.

WHO IS THE CAMP FOR?
The camp is open to:
- boys and girls aged between 9 and 15 (born between 2011 and 2017)
- the camp accepts approximately 145 participants of both genders
- participants DO NOT HAVE PHONES during the camp

WHAT IS AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPANTS?
The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp in 2026 will be led by:
- Žiga Koščak, Director of the Goran Dragić Foundation
- Matej Avanzo, Member of the Foundation and Director of Spontanzo
The core organizational team also includes:
- Aleš Živanović – Head of Basketball Operations
- Nenad Stojić – Head of Counselors
- Nik Jerovšek – Organization, logistics, and non-basketball activities
- Luka Brulc – Social media and organizational support
All members of the leadership and organizational team are long-time basketball enthusiasts with extensive experience in event organization, always striving to deliver something more for the participants.
At least 17 coaches are present with the children at the camp at all times. The Head Coach of the camp for the third consecutive year will be Aleš Živanović, a long-time coach at Gogi’s camps and an experienced basketball expert in youth development.
He is surrounded by a team of coaches experienced in high-quality work with young people, as well as active female and male players who bring basketball closer to camp participants through play, knowledge, and example.
In addition, the organizers together with Goran Dragić strive to invite some of the best Slovenian and international basketball experts, as well as former and active players, to Laško for a day or two, where they are available to participants both on the court and during free time.

SAFETY AND WELL-BEING
The Goran Dragić Basketball Camp is not focused only on basketball. Just as important as the sports program are the safety and quality of the children’s stay.
This is ensured by a team of ten counselors led by Nenad Stojić.
The counselors are professionally trained and have extensive experience working at camps, holiday programs, and events organized by the Anita Ogulin Association and ZPM, which is also one of the partners of the camp.
The counselors stay with the children throughout the entire camp, and together with the coaches they are accommodated in the same section of the hotel, ensuring constant presence, supervision, and support.

A physiotherapist is present in Laško throughout the entire duration of the camp to take care of injury prevention and to respond quickly in case of injuries, ensuring the overall well-being of the participants.
For the fourth consecutive year, the camp is cooperating with experts in the field of 3×3 basketball. Participants will be introduced to the basics of this new Olympic discipline, and together with the camp team we will also organize an internal 3×3 tournament.
Although basketball is the central connecting element of the camp, participants are never selected based on their previous basketball experience.
The camp is intended for children of different ages and skill levels, with the goal of creating an environment where every child feels accepted, safe, and encouraged to develop.
We want the seven days spent in Laško to remain a wonderful memory for all participants and their parents.
LAŠKO
A Beautiful Town on the Savinja River
A small town and a beautiful piece of nature with exceptional hotel and sports infrastructure, located about a dozen kilometers from Celje and 90 km from Ljubljana.
Laško settled along the Savinja River, which flows through the town at an altitude of 260 meters, surrounded by the scenic pre-Alpine Posavje hills and the Celje basin.
Around 14,000 very welcoming residents live in the Municipality of Laško, proudly known for its famous brewery, excellent food, beautiful nature, basketball tradition, and outstanding hotel offer developed mainly thanks to its thermal mineral springs.
Since 2013, it has held the title of European Destination of Excellence, awarded for the development of tourism accessible to everyone. It also carries the Slovenia Green Destination gold label.
Since 2021, it has proudly become the second home of Goran Dragić and his basketball camp.

THERMANA LAŠKO
Thermana Park Laško**** Superior
Participants of the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp will stay in the modern Thermana Park Laško**** Superior hotel complex.
Children will be accommodated in excellently equipped and very spacious rooms, and together with the camp leadership, coaches, and counselors they will be separated from other hotel guests.
They will have their own “wing” of the hotel, their own dining room, terrace, rooms for activities, a large event hall, dedicated elevators, and a separate staircase.
Thermana Laško, together with the Municipality of Laško, has become a partner of the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp, so we have no doubt that the children will also enjoy their free time during the week spent in the town on the Savinja River with “Gogi” and his team.

TRI LILIJE SPORTS HALL
The Basketball Temple of Laško
The Tri lilije sports hall is one of the symbols of the town of Laško and is especially well known among basketball enthusiasts. It is the first sports facility in Slovenia with a ceiling-mounted scoreboard and a sports court built on an upper level.
For the Goran Dragić Basketball Camp, the hall will be adapted so that it allows three groups of children to train at the same time. With as much as 4,500 square meters of space, it will provide plenty of room and freedom for all camp participants.
Participants will have access to three full-size basketball courts (28×15 m), with all official markings. The children will truly feel like real professional basketball players.
One of the three courts will have a lowered basket height, with the hoops positioned at 260 cm instead of the standard 305 cm, making it suitable for younger participants.
The sports hall can host up to 2,500 spectators. During the camp it will be additionally equipped so that everyone entering it will feel like they are part of Gogi’s basketball story.
More than 80 meters of LED screens and three digital scoreboards will be installed, while the venue will also feature the branding of the Goran Dragić Foundation and our proud sponsors and partners.

OPENING
MEETING
On the first day of the camp, Sunday, June 28, special parking spaces will be prepared and clearly marked next to the hotel for children and parents, along with a dedicated reception area for the gathering of participants before the camp.
At the opening meeting, which will take place at 11:15 in the main hall of the Thermana Park Laško Superior**** hotel, the entire organizational team, led by the camp leadership, coaches, and counselors, will introduce themselves to the young participants and their parents or guardians.
All members of the team will of course be available to answer any questions you may have.
CAMP 2026
ALL-STAR AND DEPARTURE HOME
On the last day of the camp, Saturday, July 4 at 10:00, we will organize a spectacular closing event for all participants and their parents or guardians in the Tri lilije hall, featuring an All-Star game.
The children will have the opportunity to show what they have learned during the week spent with Goran Dragić.
They will demonstrate their love for basketball while taking part in basketball games, fun competitions, and special prize challenges.
Some of these activities will also be prepared for the bravest moms, dads, grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, or other family members.
